Resveratrol supplements are the latest antiaging fad. Aging is breakdown, but broken things can be fixed. Aging is characterized by a progressive deterioration of physiological functions and metabolic processes. The healthy reputation of dietary antioxidants just got more support, with one type turning in a spectacular anti-aging performance.

Research studies continue to find more interesting benefits from this red wine compound, including potential anti-cancer and anti-aging activity. As to its antiaging potential, resveratrol activates a cell’s survival defense enzyme, which prolongs the time cells have to repair their broken DNA.

Newspapers, magazines and TV over the last few years have been filled with news of the anti-aging, antioxidant and seemingly miraculous properties of red wine. Wine lovers are probably already aware that red wine contains a powerful antioxidant: resveratrol.

Resveratrol appears to work as a powerful antioxidant helping quench free radical damage in the body, but also has a unique mechanism of action that may prove to have significant life extension properties. Antioxidant resveratrol action is very important for the heart health because it can reduce the blood pressure by opening the arteries hence increasing the blood flow through them.

Antioxidants slow down cell damage and the progression of degenerative diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s and improve organ, eye, skin, teeth and gum health.

The primary health component of wine that researchers have uncovered is called resveratrol. Resveratrol is also found in a number of other foods and berries, such a peanuts and blueberries but grapes, particularly winemaking grapes such as Muscadine, are the clear winner.

Resveratrol maintains cell viability and exerts an anti-oxidative action by enhancing the intracellular free-radical scavenger glutathione. Resveratrol is an active polyphenol found in red wine that has anti cancer effects. Resveratrol is known to fight cancer tumor growth. Resveratrol protects heart tissue from cancer chemotherapy drug. Resveratrol is known to be protective against oxidative cardiovascular disorders.

Resveratrol protects the circulation in the heart and other organs in several ways, including protection against ischemic-reperfusion injury, relaxation of blood vessels to improve circulation, protection and maintenance of intact endothelium, reduction of hardening of the arteries, inhibition of low-density lipoprotein oxidation, and suppression of platelet aggregation which improves blood flow and reduces blood clotting.

Resveratrol helps lower cholesterol, and is as much as 10 to 20 times more potent than vitamin E in protecting against LDL oxidation, a process that has been linked to the development of cardiovascular disease. Resveratrol in wine is known to prevent blood clots and widen (dilate) blood vessels, sometimes producing Viagra-like effects. Resveratrol pills should ideally be consumed with meals, since this is when insulin and blood sugar levels rise and when oxidation is high.

Resvinatrol Complete contains the powerful red wine antioxidant, resveratrol, called « The Fountain of Youth » in a formula that includes several other important antioxidants. Resveratrol, just one of the powerful antioxidants in Resvinatrol Complete, is being heralded by scientists and researchers as an anti-aging miracle drug that can help ward off the effects of age-related diseases such as cancer, heart disease, strokes, obesity, diabetes and Alzheimer’s.

Resvinatrol Complete provides today’s health-conscious consumers with an exciting combination of powerful antioxidants found in red wine, chocolate, pomegranates, red raspberries, and soy. We are starting to hear more and more now about this wonder nutrient and how it can benefit us, so let’s see how the antioxidant mechanism of resveratrol can help us.

Research is showing that resveratrol could be the most powerful antioxidant ever found. Quite an achievement.

Antioxidants are needed at very high levels for optimum health and disease prevention in human beings. The antioxidant mechanism of resveratrol prevents and repairs cell damage caused by free radicals in the body.

Free radicals, atoms with unpaired electrons, wreak havoc in the human body by damaging cells and causing disease and aging.

Its ability to reverse the signs of aging is being described as nothing short of amazing.

This is why it is so important to our health and millions of dollars are now going into research to see just how it works on many different levels.

To date most of the studies have been done on mice, but the findings are quite incredible. It seems the antioxidant mechanism of resveratrol can actually switch off abnormal cells while leaving the healthy ones alone.

This is the foundation for a cancer cure, as the current method of chemotherapy kills all the cells. In addition to this, in leukemia, it can induce the malignant cells to kill themselves. Tests on mice showed 76% of the cancer cells died when exposed to resveratrol.

Other antioxidant benefits are protection against heart disease, diabetes and even Alzheimer’s, and I am sure many more discoveries are right around the corner.

If resveratrol is teamed up with another powerful antioxidant like green tea extract, it powers are increased due to their interaction, and this is synergy at work.

Experts agree that the best way to harness the power of this nutrient is to take it in a multi supplement that has many other synergetic ingredients.

Though it has a long way to go, resveratrol research is already showing us how we can benefit from this amazing nutrient, especially when combined with others, and who knows perhaps the antioxidant mechanism of resveratrol will help us all look and feel younger.

If you would like to learn more about the synergistic products which I personally take, including resveratrol, visit my website today.

If so, how long have you been taking it and for what reason(s)? Have you noticed any positive results? How much do you take and why? Do you use it in conjunction with any other supplement?

I’m actually taking a supplement called Bee Anti. It’s got 2000 mg of resveratrol, as well as bee pollen and royal jelly. I work a lot of hours – first at the day job and then on our home businesses. I also don’t get as much exercise as I should.

I started taking Bee Anti and I did notice that I generally felt better. The biggest difference I noticed was that my skin cleared up a LOT. I’m almost 40, and I’ve always had problems with acne. Now I’m not having any problems at all, and the resveratrol was what made the difference.

The dosage for Bee Anti is two caplets per day, so that’s what I’m using.

As far as other supplements, I do take glucosamine for joint health and a multi-vitamin. Hope that helps!

Resveratrol has recently been touted as the new “Miracle Compound” that has been shown in clinical studies to reduce the effects of aging, fight cancer, and combat against diabetes.

Truly amazing stuff!

Resveratrol is one of the most abundantly found in different types of plants. Some of these are forms of dietary supplements and herbal formulations in Asian folk medicine. Resveratrol was first identified from the roots of the Japanese knotweed.

Other plant sources include eucalyptus, spruce, pine, and lily. Resveratrol is present in foods including peanuts, blueberries, partridgeberries, and bilberries. Resveratrol is found in most abundance, though, in the skin of grapes that are used to make red wine. Resveratrol is the best anti oxidant that can be naturally obtained.

It is one of the most volatile molecules and when exposed to oxygen, oxidizes and breaks down rapidly. As the levels of the resveratrol I natural sources are very low it has become damn essential for manufacturers to produce the Resveratrol supplements in an environment that preserves its potency. In addition, the delivery mechanism is very important as it will determine both the bioavailability of the Resveratrol content as well as the metabolism.

Bioavailability of resveratrol in people is necessary and crucial since most of the studies on resveratrol have been done on cultured cells in pietre dishes in the lab which are exposed to resveratrol, which has been improper metabolized and in concentrations that are usually ten to a hundred times in excess of the highest concentrations measured in human plasma after been orally consumed.

Even though the digestive tract cells are exposed to poorly metabolized resveratrol, research in humans suggests that other organs and cellular tissues are exposed mainly to metabolized resveratrol. Not much is understood about the biological activity of metabolized resveratrol , and it has not been conclusively determined if some cells are able to convert resveratrol metabolites back to resveratrol.

Therefore, ingesting resveratrol supplements that deliver a more effective bioactive resveratrol dose is an important factor in the manufacturing of these resveratrol products. There are several methods being utilized by the major resveratrol manufacturers to improve bio availability.

Resveratrol ultra is a natural phytolexin produced by the plants when under attack from pathogens like bacteria and fungi. Resveratrol is sold as a nutritional chemical supplement. Chemically, resveratrol is the phytolexin that can be derived from Japanese Knotweed. Primarily, it is an essential component in the berries and grapes.

Resveratrol ultra is found in the skin of red grapes. It is a vital constituent of red wine but not available in a very good amount in red wine. Though, it is very concentrated in proportion. It is treated often as the best French secret. French people are blessed with glowing blemish free skin because of this amazing ingredient of red wine. It has been shown in the researches that resveratrol can also extend the life of skin cells.

Resveratrol ultra is the reason for the glowing skin of the French. French, who ate unhealthy amounts of oily foods had the decreased rate of heart disease and related illness in the western world. The solution was found in the red wine they were drinking, to be very précised, in the resveratrol found in the red wine.

The Benefits include:

1. Anti ageing by swiftly replacing dead cells and serving to keep healthy cells healthy.

2. Triggering and supporting the immune system and helping to wrestle off illness and colds.

3. It also helps to fight certain types of cancers making them more vulnerable to conventional treatment. These are some of the key benefits.

Resveratrol chemically is a polyphenolic phytolexin ( 3,5,4- trihydroxystilbene). It is a derivative of stilbene, and produced in plants as result of the action of stilbene synthase.

It exists in two isomeric form cis(Z) and Trans (E), It exists as two geometric isomers: cis- (Z) and trans- (E). The trans- form can undergo isomerization to the cis- form when exposed to ultraviolet irradiation.

Trans Resveratrol is a very stable compound with accelerated stability conditions of 75% humidity and 40 degrees C in normal air pressure. Resveratrol content also stayed stable in the skins of grapes and pomace taken after fermentation and stored for a long period.
