I want to buy a red wine that has a high amount of resveratrol, which I understand is good for the health. What wines should I look for in low to high price ranges?
Hey, Oldtimer’s back! Happy day! ( :
There isn’t enough resveratrol in wine to really matter; but any red wine will have some (though just a little).
To get a high enough dose to make a difference, you may want to try supplements:

Burgundy wine is best, Vandage(sp?)is awsome!

Carlo Rossi is second best (burgundy) Dark red wine only!
Cassie, I don`t know wines but i will have one with you. I am back

Wine actually contains a minimal amount of resveratrol. I use to get mine from wine only. I recently found out that resveratrol supplements contain 40% more resveratrol then red wine.
Check out the site below. It contains a video Barbara Walters did on the amazing benefits of resveratrol. This site also explains how to get a free sample of a great supplement.

As quoted on this site:
"To get the same amount of Resveratrol into your system, you would have to drink around a thousand bottles of Red Wine!"
